To all of our distance education students; please note that the deadline for your course work to be completed is Friday, June 5th. These courses will NOT be extended into Summer School or into our September term. We ask that you ensure you are dedicating time to completing these courses and turning in assignments for marking as soon as they are completed.

Sunrise Summer School Applications are now open. Please note that all expressions of interest must be submitted DIGITALLY by scanning the attached QR code or visiting our Summer School tab and clicking on the link. You cannot apply in person at Sunrise School. The complete list of offered courses is attached and spaces may be limited. In coming weeks our Summer School team will review applications and contact interested students. APPLYING FOR SUMMER SCHOOL DOES NOT GUARANTEE ACCEPTANCE.

A favourite amongst students, we are excited for our senior high classes to attend StageWest on Wednesday, May 6th. Located in Calgary, StageWest offers a buffet brunch and matinee musical. This year our students will be enjoying "A New Sound in Town" which is musical revue that explores the evolution and cross-pollination of musical genres over the decades.

Permission slips and event details were sent home with students before the spring break. If you are needing a new form, or have any questions, please contact Chelsea in the office at (403) 793-2025. Please note there is a $20 fee for each student attending, which can be made thru SchoolCash online.

On Tuesday, May 12th, our students in Grades 7, 8 and 9 have the opportunity to attend Lethbridge Polytechnic to participate in the Southern Alberta Collegiate Institute - E3 Program. Students will explore careers and training available in the areas of Trades, Agriculture and Health Care. Students will be bringing home a letter with the itinerary as well as required permission slips. If you would like a letter sent to you by email or have any questions, please contact Chelsea in the office at (403) 793-2025.

Weather notice
Our ski trip is this Wednesday, March 11th! Students that are participating must be at the school at 6:45am to prepare for a 7am departure. We expect to be back around 6pm and ask that parents/guardians are available and/or at the school to pick up your student.

For those students that are not going on the ski trip, please remember that school will continue as usual and we expect you you to be in attendance. This is a great opportunity to catch up on some assignments!

Parent Teacher Interviews will be held Tuesday, March 3rd and Thursday, March 5th with appointments available from 3:45 to 6:30pm. If you would like to schedule a time to meet with our teachers, please contact the office by calling (403 )793-2025 or texting (403) 427-0195.

Don't forget....there is no school next week (February 16-20). We hope our students and families enjoy some rest and look forward to their return on February 23rd.
